Gujarat neet PG counselling 2026

Gujarat NEET PG Counselling 2026 is the state-level counselling process for admission to MD, MS and Diploma postgraduate medical courses in eligible medical colleges and institutions across Gujarat. The counselling is conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC), constituted by the Government of Gujarat. The admission process is conducted on the basis of NEET PG merit, along with the applicable eligibility, reservation, seat availability and choices filled by candidates.

The counselling process generally includes online registration, document verification at designated Help Centers, publication of the merit list, choice filling and locking, online seat allotment, fee payment, submission of original documents and admission confirmation. Gujarat counselling may cover different seat categories, including Government, Management, NRI and other applicable categories, according to the rules notified by ACPPGMEC. Candidates allotted a seat must complete the prescribed admission confirmation and reporting formalities within the specified schedule.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must qualify NEET PG 2026 with the prescribed qualifying percentile.
• Must possess a recognised MBBS degree.
• Must have completed the 1-year compulsory rotating internship within the prescribed date.
• Must hold a valid permanent/provisional medical registration with NMC or the concerned State Medical Council.
• Must fulfil the Gujarat domicile/state eligibility requirements for applicable State Quota seats.
• Candidates seeking Government, Management, NRI or other applicable seats must meet the respective eligibility conditions.
• Candidates claiming SC/ST/SEBC/EWS reservation must possess a valid certificate in the prescribed format.
• PwD candidates must have a valid disability certificate issued by the competent authority.
• Candidates must fulfil the prescribed academic and internship requirements for postgraduate medical admission.
• Eligibility is subject to verification of original documents at the designated Help Centre.
• Candidates must comply with the latest ACPPGMEC Gujarat NEET PG counselling rules and prospectus.

Document Required

• Document Verification: Report to the designated Help Centre with the required original documents.
• Original Documents: Carry all original certificates along with the required photocopies.
• NEET PG Documents: NEET PG 2026 Admit Card and Score Card/Result.
• Academic Documents: MBBS Degree/Provisional Certificate and all MBBS Mark Sheets.
• Internship Proof: Internship Completion Certificate.
• Medical Registration: Valid Permanent/Provisional Medical Registration Certificate.
• Identity Proof: Valid government-issued photo ID.
• Domicile Certificate: Gujarat Domicile Certificate, wherever applicable.

• After Verification: Candidates can proceed with merit list, choice filling, seat allotment and admission as per the counselling schedule

How to apply

• Visit the Official Portal
  Go to the ACPPGMEC Gujarat website and open the PG MD/MS/Diploma section.
• Purchase PIN / Registration Credentials
  Follow the registration instructions issued by ACPPGMEC. The committee’s registration procedure includes obtaining the required PIN/registration credentials where applicable.
• Click on Candidate Registration
  Select Candidate Login/Registration and begin the online application.
• Enter NEET PG Details
  Provide your NEET PG 2026 details, personal information and other required information.
• Fill Academic Details
  Enter your MBBS qualification, marks, internship and medical registration details.
• Upload Required Documents
  Upload the required certificates and documents as specified by ACPPGMEC.
• Submit the Online Registration
  Carefully review all information and submit the registration form.
• Take Printout of Acknowledgement
  Download and print the registration acknowledgement/application form.
• Complete Document Verification
  Visit the designated Help Centre with original documents and required copies for verification. ACPPGMEC specifically provides designated Help Centres for the admission process.
• Check Merit List
  After successful registration and verification, check the provisional merit list published by ACPPGMEC.
• Fill Your Choices
  Participate in online choice filling and select your preferred MD/MS/Diploma courses and colleges.
• Check Seat Allotment
  Check the round-wise allotment result and download the allotment details if a seat is assigned.
• Pay Tuition Fee & Confirm Admission
  Complete the prescribed fee payment and admission confirmation process.
• Submit Original Documents & Report
  Submit the required original documents at the designated Help Centre and obtain the admission order, then complete joining formalities at the allotted institute
