Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2026 is the state counselling process for admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma and other eligible postgraduate medical courses in participating Government, Government-aided, Corporation, Private and other eligible medical institutions in Maharashtra.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates generally need to satisfy the following:
- Must have qualified NEET PG 2026.
- Must possess a recognized MBBS degree.
- Must have completed the required Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship/Internship within the prescribed deadline.
- Must have valid medical registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or applicable State Medical Council.
- Must satisfy the applicable NEET PG qualifying criteria.

How to apply
For Maharashtra, PG medical admissions are handled through the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. The official CET Cell portal currently lists NEET-PGM under the Medical Education postgraduate admission section for AY 2026–27.
Step-by-Step Application Process
1. Check NEET PG Eligibility
- Qualify NEET PG 2026.
- Possess a recognized MBBS degree.
- Complete the required compulsory internship within the prescribed deadline.
- Have valid medical registration.
- Fulfil Maharashtra State Quota eligibility, wherever applicable.
2. Visit the Official Maharashtra CET Cell Website

The CET Cell specifically advises candidates to use only its official portal for registration, admission notices, CAP information and related communication.
3. Select Medical Education → NEET-PGM
On the 2026–27 admission portal, go to the Medical Education section and select NEET-PGM.
4. Register Online
Enter the required details, such as:

- Date of Birth
- Mobile number
- Email ID
- MBBS details
- Internship details
- Medical registration details
- Category/quota details
Keep your registered mobile number and email active throughout counselling.
5. Upload Required Documents
Keep scanned copies of:

6. Pay the Application Fee
Pay the prescribed NEET PG counselling/application fee through the official portal.
Do not publish a fixed 2026 fee until the NEET-PGM 2026 information brochure/notice confirms it.
7. Submit the Application
Before final submission:
- Verify your personal details.
- Verify NEET PG information.
- Check category and quota.
- Verify uploaded documents.
- Submit the application.
- Save/print the confirmation page and fee receipt.
8. Check Provisional Merit List
After applications are processed, check the Maharashtra NEET PG merit list and verify your details.
9. Choice Filling
Select your preferred:

- Category/quota
Arrange choices according to your preference and lock them within the prescribed deadline.
10. Check Seat Allotment
Check the CAP/seat allotment result. If a seat is allotted, download the allotment/selection letter.
11. Accept the Seat
Complete the prescribed seat acceptance/admission formalities and pay the required fee within the deadline.
12. Report to the College
Report to the allotted medical college with:
