RAJASTHAN NEET PG COUNSELLING 2026

Rajasthan NEET PG Counselling is conducted for admission to MD, MS, Post MBBS Diploma and eligible Post MBBS DNB seats in participating medical colleges/institutions of Rajasthan.

The counselling process generally includes:

  1. Online Registration

  4. Publication of Merit List
  5. Choice Filling & Choice Locking
  6. Seat Allotment Result
  7. Reporting & Joining at Allotted College

The previous counselling cycle was conducted by the NEET PG Admission/Counselling Board, SMS Medical College, Jaipur, under the Rajasthan medical education system. The official 2025 Rajasthan PG portal used was rajpgneet2025.in.

For the 2026–27 session, candidates should rely on the official Rajasthan Medical Education Department and the new Rajasthan NEET PG counselling portal/notification once activated. The current MCC site also lists PG counselling information for the 2026 session.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate should generally fulfill the following requirements:

  • Must have qualified NEET PG 2026.
  • Must possess an MBBS degree recognized as per applicable medical regulations.
  • Must have completed or be eligible to complete the required Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship by the date specified in the official counselling notification.
  • Must have a valid medical registration certificate from the appropriate Medical Council/NMC or State Medical Council, as applicable.
  • Must satisfy the NEET PG qualifying percentile/cut-off applicable to their category.
  • Candidates claiming Rajasthan State quota seats must fulfill the Rajasthan eligibility/domicile/MBBS or other applicable state eligibility conditions mentioned in the official information booklet.
  • Reserved category candidates must possess valid certificates in the prescribed format.
  • NRI/PwD/in-service candidates, where applicable, must fulfill additional eligibility requirements prescribed for those categories.

Rajasthan’s 2025 counselling documents show that eligibility can differ for specific categories and courses, so the 2026 information booklet will be the final authority.

Candidates should keep the following documents ready in original plus self-attested photocopies, and scanned copies for online registration:

How to apply

For Rajasthan State NEET PG counselling, the application is generally completed online through the Rajasthan NEET PG Admission/Counselling Board. In the latest available Rajasthan PG process, the application had Part 1 and Part 2, and both had to be completed for participation in counselling.

Step-by-Step Process

1. Check NEET PG Eligibility

  • Qualify NEET PG 2026.
  • Have an MBBS degree.
  • Complete the required internship.
  • Hold valid medical registration.
  • Check Rajasthan State Quota eligibility, if applicable.

2. Visit the Official Rajasthan PG Counselling Portal

For 2026, use the new official 2026 portal/link announced by the Rajasthan NEET PG Admission/Counselling Board rather than assuming the 2025 URL will remain active.

3. Register Online
Enter details such as:

  • NEET PG Roll Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Personal details
  • Mobile number
  • Email ID
  • MBBS details
  • Internship details
  • Registration details

4. Complete Application Part 1 & Part 2

The previous Rajasthan process explicitly required candidates to complete both Part 1 and Part 2 of the application form.

5. Upload/Submit Required Documents

  • MBBS Mark Sheets

6. Pay Application Fee

Pay the prescribed counselling/application fee online through the portal.

7. Pay Security Amount, If Applicable

Rajasthan's previous PG counselling process required a separate security amount, with the amount varying according to the type of seat/course and institution. For example, the 2025 notification specified different security amounts for government and private MD/MS seats.

8. Download/Print Application Form

After successful submission, save and print the completed application form and payment confirmation.

9. Check Merit List

The counselling authority publishes the provisional/final merit list after the application process.

10. Fill Choices

Select your preferred:

  • College
  • Course
  • Branch/Speciality
  • Seat type/category

Then save and lock your choices within the prescribed deadline.

11. Check Seat Allotment

If a seat is allotted, download the allotment letter and follow the instructions for reporting and admission.

12. Report to the College

Carry the required original documents, photocopies, allotment letter and prescribed fee/bond documents for admission.
